I experienced this facility back in August 2025 for color and a retwist for locs. When booking I let the whoever I booked with that my hair had numerous colors and I just wanted one main color and a retwist. I was there from 7am until closing and they switched me from one person to another because she didn’t really know about locs and color so I went to someone named Latrisse I believe? So that was a mess!!! She ran out of color and I wanted a copper color because in the beginning my hair was a faded purple and black/teal/blue mess. So she had to bring that back to life but she really couldn’t the copper color was so many different colors of red and orange when I finally left the salon and some of my locs weren’t even dyed. I came here to get a silk press and I haven’t had my hair pressed in years! I’m a black natural hair queen and I wear my curls and braid outs all the time. However, I wanted to get my hair pressed and Jana’s salon was the salon I chose to press my hair. The salon is absolutely gorgeous and I did have an appointment same day! So I didn’t have to wait. The wash and blow dry process was quick but just like any salon when you’re a customer, always speak up when you feel uncomfortable with the way someone is handling your hair. Delicacy and comfort are so important to consider when getting a service done. This whole process took about a hour and some change and by the time I was done, I got my hair trimmed and again, I wanted to make sure that I was getting a trim and not a cut and the woman w

There is no words to express the Service you get here at Janas Hair Salon where I been coming for 13 years. Professionalism and great hair designs is on the high. Every Staff Member is Courteous and Dependable. You are not left in the waiting area long here. I especially love the great conversations I hear in here that will help you along in life. But when they are done with your hair there is no words for a job well done and how you feel. The feeling when you leave here is that you can conquer anything and say when you see yourself in the mirror "I am Gorgeous." My Stylist is Latisee but in her place I have had Atiya as well. I am a post pandemic transplant from Brooklyn,NY. I had missed the convenience of going to the beauty parlor with ease. New Jersey it is different. I found Jana's Hair Salon. It was the BEST fit for me. They understand natural hair. They understood what I was asking for with my natural hair. Frankly, I was happy with my hair. I was happy with the service. Note: Everything is done online. There is a deposit. If you don't keep the appointment you have to cancel within 2 days of your scheduled time.The services are selected individually. (à la carte), if you mess up your order no worries they will make the correction. Yes, this salon also has a school separate from the salon.

I took a few days to write this had to sit on my feelings. I go to Jana’s occasionally. My recent visit was Wednesday before thanksgiving my appointment was at 4 my hair didn’t get started until 5:30. I have a short cut and blonde hair (done by them) I was going to get my color touched up and finger waves. My honey blonde hair is white and falling out. (Since going lighter I take good care I deep condition and give myself hot oil treatments every Sunday and I’m sure to oil it daily). I went to wash it today Sunday it was just coming out. I know some breakage is normal but not this. Again my hair is white she bleached the hair but never added a warming color to make it honey. I was the last person in the shop by the time my hair was started so I know it wasn’t done correctly. I can’t say th
