James Salon

I started going to the James Salon in Fort Collins in 2012. Went for a few years and moved. After getting lousy hair cuts elsewhere, I decided I needed to go back to Aveda. I was going to go back to the James Salon but found my stylist moved/ transfered south. Although she would come up to For Collins on occasions. Then one day close to 2021, I went to make an appointment and saw the Ft Collins store closed. Went to a different Aveda. Then I moved to Greeley and didnt even realize there was a James Salon HERE!!! I was so excited. My first stylist was Alex and she did an amazing job. Although...with every single salon I visit...I can never tell if I like my hair till I try to style at home. And I ALWAYS return within 2 days for a "touch up". I’ve been going to James Salon for over 10 years, and I’ve been seeing Sammy for the past 4—and I honestly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair! Sammy is amazing. She’s taken the time to really get to know me, my style, and exactly what I like (and don’t). Every time I leave her chair, I feel so happy and confident. She just gets it every single time. I’m so grateful for her and her talent. Truly the best!

My experience with James salon was amazing although I do have a couple things to say. Although the girls work there are fantastic and sweet I believe James him self can work on himself a little bit. While I was there I couldn’t help but notice his tone and words to his employees. As someone who has a business I wouldn’t think to speak to them that way. While James is a good guy I still stick with my opinion that he could work on it a little. I always say stay humble or get humbled. Over all my experience was great and I appreciate them taking care of me!! My hairs never looked better!

I went to James Salon for the first time, Alex cut my hair and she did an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted and gave me gorgeous layers. The salon is an inviting environment and they are accommodating to children.

I can’t say enough positive things about James Salon and especially my stylist Alex. We recently relocated to the area and I selected James Salon due to my love for Aveda products but their customer service far exceeded my expectations. I have been going to Alex for almost 5 months now and she is amazing. From the moment I met her, she made me feel heard. She truly listens to what I want and nails it every time. She takes the time to ask detailed questions but also shares her expert opinion and never steers me wrong. Her expertise in color is incredible – she transforms my hair with such precision, and encourages me to take risks and have fun with my hair and color. I’m always beyond happy with the results.
