Family Owned and Operated Salon in Downtown Area of Smithfield. My son (teenager!) got his hair cut, husband had a beard trim! They were attentive, nice and reasonably priced! We will definitely be scheduling another appointment. Highly recommend!!

Took my teenage son in with a huge unkempt mop. Gabe really listened and patiently weeded through that mess and for the first time my son actually said, "Hey, this is a really good haircut!" Gabe is fab. He listens, he doesn't rush you like other stylists might or make you feel bad because he is patient and wants to get the style right. Telling a client about other appointments to make them feel awkward is not professional and, luckily, Gabe is not like that.

I first got my hair cut into a shaggy lob by Autumn and she did an amazing job. I booked an appointment for a few weeks later with Jeff to get an undercut with a geometric design and couldn't be happier. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and inviting. I've had undercuts before and it always seems that the stylists just want to hurry up and get the job done and get paid. This is not the case at J. Davis Salon. They are professional, trendy, and well acquainted with the passion and knowledge it takes to give their clients beautiful hair!

Awesome stylist, love that that he can tell what’s not going to work with your hair or coloring! He and his wife make a great team and run a great place! I’d recommend to anyone! I do highlights, and he helps me work thru my very fine, but very thick wavy hair

I've gone here for three haircuts-(a short bob that a lot of people struggle to cut properly) and a keratin straightening treatment with Jeff. He does a fantastic job-He takes his time and makes sure my cut/styling is perfect and makes time for me because of my busy schedule. The staff are all professional/friendly and all make sure their clients are getting exactly what they want.
