Island Glow Tanning & Beauty - Chesterfield

I hope I can at least save one bride from having another awful experience with Island Glow for their wedding day with this review. My experience was truly terrible with island glow, particularly with the owner Michelle. Their communication is horrendous and Michelle is a sorry excuse for a hair and makeup artist. I asked to schedule my hair and makeup trial about 4 months before my wedding. Island glow scheduled me for a date and time without my input. The only reason I knew I was scheduled was from a calendar email confirmation for a random date. It’s hard not to think this date was purposefully scheduled 28 days out from my wedding as the contract I signed months before states no changes or refunds can be made 30 days before the day of service. It is always a fantastic experience here as the staff is helpful and friendly! Also, I LOVE that they have specials and offer discount opportunities daily. The airbrush tan is always my go-to service as the spray is even and doesn't have that orange color like other salon sprays have. I also HIGHLY recommend relaxing in the Cocoon Wellness Sauna. I have done the cleanse and brighten, in addition to the super hydration mode, and think both are FANTASTIC. You feel super refreshed and relaxed walking out of there. 5 STARS TO ISLAND GLOW TANNING & BEAUTY! Thank you for the phenomenal service!

I absolutely love this place! Rachel is incredibly sweet and is always happy to help answer my questions. I've only been going for about a month and thanks to the red light therapy, I can already see a huge difference in the dark circles under my eyes. I recently had surgery on my chin and the scar is fading beautifully as well!! The hydration pod is pretty awesome too. I highly recommend everyone coming here, it's worth the money!

This is my happy place!! I feel so much better every time I leave. I LOVE the aqua pod cocoon, it is so relaxing and my skin is so soft afterwards! I lay there with my AirPods on a podcast, follow up with some time in the red light chair, getting an amazing massage and end with tanning. It is my time to pamper myself! I truly feel lucky to have this luxurious experience so close to home!! Oh, and Sydney is a sweetheart

Abby was just wonderful! She was very professional and kind when explaining all of my options. Even over the phone she was the same and also remembered me and asked how I was doing. She has fantastic customer service. The facility is nice and clean, the equipment has some of the latest technology. I have very much enjoyed what I have been able to try. My only wish would be if they could close a little later and have more that just one of each equipment/ bed. Over all I very much enjoy going so far.
