I’ve been a customer of Sylvia Dawn since 2021. I was referred to Dawn by my girlfriend, who has also been her customer for over 10 years. I have always been very satisfied with every service. Dawn specializes in hair care. She gives me the best silk presses. They typically last over a week!

So I’ve been going here for a while now, probably around two years and today will be my last day ever going. I’m always very nice and polite to Sylvia and the rest of the staff, but they truly don’t care about your hair. My hair was burnt off while being colored black, and the year prior I asked them to color my hair blonde and it broke off as well. I should have learned my lesson, but I understand bleach can be very harsh on hair; so I let it go and returned again. It’s always very rushed in the salon from the aggressive and quite painful blow drying that snatched out the edges of my hair and my sisters hair, to quick press out. The price is amazing but the quality of work has gone down over the past two years. I really hope the salon takes this as a wake up call to change things up and n

Sylvia Dawn is amazing! She is very knowledgeable about hair and maintaining healthy hair. She is also very fast..I was in and out in less than 2 hours. Will definitely be going back again.

Inside Out Hair Salon is basically a one-stop shop. If you're looking for an old-school wash, blow-dry, and flat iron, this is the place for you. But be aware—if you want any other style, the master stylist Sylvia doesn’t seem too knowledgeable beyond a basic flat iron and a bump. She has a bit of a ‘nice-nasty’ attitude, and as a client, you might feel like you're just part of an assembly line. She only really chats with people she knows, and as a new customer, don’t expect a warm welcome—they don’t greet you when you walk in, and might only say hello once you're seated. Most of the service feels rushed. If you just want to get in and out quickly, this place will do, but don’t expect much more than that.

I enjoyed my time at InsideOut Hair Salon. All of the stylists were extremely professional and QUICK! I arrived to the salon about 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment and I was greeted by one of the stylists there and walked over to the wash bowl. The wash felt really great and my hair felt really clean. I am completely natural and am very skeptical about who touches my hair. Sylvia took great care of my hair! My scalp feels clean and my hair feels very moisturized. And not to mention, my twist out looks amazing! I will be going back to that salon every time I need a quick wash and style for a great price!
