I’ve been getting my hair cut by Anna Marie for about a year now, and it continues to be the best barbershop/salon experience I’ve ever had (and I’ve visited many shops/salons accross the entire country). Anna Marie is a warm, kind, funny, punctual, extremely talented barber, and the shop is such a comfortable, positive environment. Mary Rose is also awesome. They’re just exceptional people who run a fabulous business, which is why their services stay in high demand! You won’t be sorry you booked a haircut here, trust me.

I just had my first appointment at Sacred Blade about two weeks ago. First off, the two ladies who run this joint are awesome. They create a welcoming environment for any and all. From the pink walls to the funky decor and great tunes playing, the vibe of the shop is super fun. Hands down, I received the best haircut I've ever had. Anna Marie was patient with me as I was trying to explain exactly what I wanted in a cut, and she delivered. She also took the time to show me exactly how to keep it styled every day. I'm kind of an idiot about these things, so that was a big deal. I have never gotten so many compliments on a haircut in my life. No kidding, it's been a serious confidence booster! Needless to say, I'm a very happy new customer, and I've found my new regular barber shop.

Mary Rose has cut my hair many times over the years, and always does an excellent job! I’ve literally driven an hour+ to see her bc she’s that good. The way someone cuts bangs can make or break your hair, and she kills it every time. She’s also so fun to talk to, and always has recommendations for books/shows/movies. I’ve seen her cut men’s hair as well and she does a great job. Both of these ladies cut stellar hair, are so sweet, and the place just overall has a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Finding a decent place to get your hair cut is a lot harder than it should be. Sacred Blade is one of the most accepting and genuinely wonderful places to go. I actually look forward to getting my hair cut every month—walking into a loving, caring space where I can be myself and know I’ll leave feeling good. Anna Marie and Mary Rose are the best. I’m genuinely happy they found this location, and the care they bring to their work makes them a true asset to the neighborhood.

Took me 15 years to find such a great place to go! Anna Marie always does an incredible job. And Mary Rose has been so kind, it took me a LONG time to find somewhere I can feel comfortable while getting my hair cut. An amazing and appreciated part of the community <3
