Overall the Baber provides great service especially for the prices. Had a bit of a wait when I arrived but I believe it’s because he was servicing a child with special needs for which I watched him be patient and skillful. Beyond the wait I was satisfied with my haircut for which time was important because I was going out on a date. I would recommend after trying every other shop in the area I’m content and satisfied with this one.

You are sit back to the mirror so you cannot see the mess he’s doing. He ruined my haircut. Couldn’t even do a proper gradient. I guess I’ll wear a hat for the upcoming weeks. Save your money and go somewhere else because he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

This review is less about the shop itself and owner, and more about the stylist working there, Nikiah, also known as “The Beauty Bounty.” I booked an appointment with her due to scheduling constraints, despite some red flags up front. First, she requires a 2–3 day wig drop-off, but since she doesn’t work Sundays or Mondays, she charged me a $30 same-day customization fee- this needs to be noted on her site for Tuesday appointments. Though her response had attitude, I accepted the fee. Upon arrival, I greeted the room with a “hello!” which was responded to with “wig appointment?” While there, Nikiah took two hours to pluck the wig while messaging me on Instagram instead of speaking to me directly.
