Illusions Salon and Day Spa

My hair found its home at Illusions Salon! My first visit there was today and I am thoroughly pleased. Marcus is a talented hair artist who styled my hair exactly as I wanted it. I would give him 100 stars if I could.

I moved from Suffolk to Williamsburg November 2024. Finding a new hair stylist is always a challenge. I wanted someone who would style & color my thin, fine hair beautifully & precisely. Finding someone who used the same product line as my previous stylist would be a huge bonus too, as the product line is very gentle. I found Illusions by Marcus that uses the same product line and gave them a call. I spoke with Marcus, the owner, and he scheduled an appointment with him. I was delighted. And I am still delighted! Marcus is very professional and friendly, as all his staff are. His salon is welcoming and comfortable. My hair has never looked better. Marcus colors & styles my hair with precision and care. I am so glad I found him!

I absolutely loved coming to Illusions by Marcus! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with such great vibes — the energy is warm, welcoming, and instantly puts you at ease. A huge shoutout to my amazing hairdresser, Jenny (or Ginny — apologies if I'm getting the name slightly off!). She is incredibly talented, attentive, and always listens to what I’m looking for. If you're looking for a place that combines top-notch service with a peaceful, positive atmosphere, this is it. Highly recommend!

I am a long-time customer of Illusions Salon. Marcus and his staff are the absolute BEST in Williamsburg! Recently, I got married and needed to have my hair styled in time for an early morning ceremony in Richmond at the Capitol. Marcus met me at 5am to make sure that I would look as beautiful as possible on my special day! Above and beyond customer service and exceptional results!

I can't say enough great things about Illusions. Have been known Marcus for years and he is the best. He and his lovely wife always make me feel like family. I recently needed a cut and had no appointment. Call and was told to come on over had me in and out in no time.... Thanks Marcus for all you do...
