Idea fab labs is a hidden gem in Santa Cruz. Not many people know about this incredible resource. If you have any inclining of creativity this place is for you. Among an incredible assortment of tools you’ll find some bad ass laser cutters , cnc router , full blown wood shop, 3D printers as far as the eye can see and a t bunch more . They even have classes or individual tutoring if you need help or want to pant some knew skills. Get in in this place . ❤️❤️❤️🥶❤️❤️❤️

If you’re an artist or creator looking for access to a lab where you can set your ideas on fire this is the place!!! The community of members also make it the most welcoming atmosphere. I also can’t forget to mention the co-founders Jordan and Maddox who by far are the coolest and most helpful individuals you can ever hope for. If you’re in the Santa Cruz area you must check out this lab!! It has 3D printers, an entire woodshop with an actual CNC router, tormach, laser cutters, electrical, jewelery shop, and so so much more! I’m so grateful to be a part of this community of creative minds.

We had such a great experience at Idea of Fab Lab. The 3D printing quality was precise even better than expected. The team was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Their customer service was friendly, professional, and fast from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking 3D printing and great people to work with!

This place is awesome. I use the CNC shopbot router, laser cutter, 3D printers, woodshop, electronics zone, jewelry area for finer more detailed work.... One thing that's awesome about this place is there's so many knowledgeable helpful friendly people with lots of skills in different areas, so you can almost always find help or learn something new. I have been a member here since 2019, except for when I paused my membership for a couple years when I didn't have time to come in, and it was super easy to pause and resume the membership. The staff and volunteers who keep it running are upbeat and good communicators and keep the vibes high, as well as the cleanliness and organization. My partner Jack and I had an incredible experience at Idea Fab Labs in Santa Cruz. Jordan and the crew were so welcoming and we left Santa Cruz feeling like we had a little gem to come back to. We were working on building out a camper van project. We only really used the woodshop. The tools they offered were everything we needed and more. The members were so friendly and supportive, always sharing ideas and tips and even sharing some of their own tools and left over materials with us. We could not have asked for a better experience. We are so grateful to Jordan and the members here for welcoming us in and we cannot wait to come back soon!
