Absolutely loved my experience!! My locs were dry and breaking and YaYa got me all together. Her crochet work is top notch and now my hair feels healthier and lighter. 100% recommend!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at I Rock Your Locks in Richmond. I scheduled an appointment a week and a half in advance and paid my deposit. Upon arriving today, the stylist was not there. I was informed via text two minutes after my appointment time that they were not present. They then asked me to come to their house for the service, which was supposed to include washing, styling, and retwisting my hair. When I mentioned that I had paid for a full service at the salon, they said they weren't comfortable washing my hair at their house. This was not only inconvenient but also unprofessional. I ended up requesting a refund. I drove an hour for this appointment, and it was a complete waste of time. I do not recommend this salon to anyone.

Tay combined my brother lots and to crochet locks and I absolutely love them! She is professional, knowledgeable, patient and very service-oriented. The shop is comfortable and accommodating.

My appointment with Yaya was great. I normally get my locs interlocked she explained why I needed to stop interlocking for while to strengthen my locs and it would help strengthen my weak spots near the front. It made sense. The wash and steam was amazing. I gave her free range to style my hair I was a little nervous on how it would look. It turned out great. Lots of compliments.
