House of Opal

House of Opal was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding day! From the very beginning, they listened so carefully to my vision and brought it to life even better than I imagined. My hair and makeup were exactly what I had hoped for — natural, elegant, and perfectly me — and everything lasted beautifully all night through dancing and rain! Clara, Rachel, and Kaydance didn’t just make me feel incredible; they took the time to listen to each of my bridesmaids’ visions too, and everyone felt so confident and beautiful. The entire team was kind, professional, and calming — the perfect energy to have on such an emotional and exciting morning. A few days prior to my wedding, Alainnah did my spray tan as well. Came in for a partial highlight with Jerri and left with ruined hair after two unsuccessful correction attempts. My dark blonde base color was broken to a bright orange and then covered with a black root smudge that did not fade (with the assistance of the salon owner). When politely asked for a refund, I was denied based on a policy disclosed only on her instagram page. I sought out a reputable stylist at a different salon (Refinery plug!!) and paid out of pocket for a correction of the previous mistakes. Unfortunately, I will have to correct my hair several more times before it returns to normal. Overall, my experience at House of Opal was very frustrating, stressful and disappointing. I would NOT recommend this salon or Jerri based on my experience.

So glad I found Amanda! My hair had gotten so dull, and she brought it back to life! Not only is she talented, reasonably priced, and accommodating to my busy work schedule, but I genuinely look forward to spending time in her chair! She is kind, funny, and a whole vibe! Bonus points for the complimentary Coke Zero and watching Harry Potter while in the (massage!!) hair wash bowl chair situation(? I don’t know what it’s officially called lol). Highly recommend Amanda to anyone with hair!

I always leave House Of Opal with fabulous Hair! I trust Clara‘s expertise and she gets my blonde perfectly how I want it. I have one row of sew in Extensions and they are easy to maintain and give my hair the extra volume that I love.

I love Opal and Onyx! I come here every three months for a haircut and style with Tiffany. Tiffany is the sweetest and so incredibly skilled. The environment here is so welcoming and comfortable. All the stylists are so kind and uplifting. I also buy all my hair products from here, the hair care line they sell is wonderful and I 100% recommend buying. I have gotten a lash lift and tint with Kaydence and I absolutely love the results. I will never go to a different salon! :)
