House of Barbers

Came by last week and talked to one of the barbers to make an appointment for my 2 kids at 530. The guy second from the left. He said no problem. I get there are 533 and he has someone in the chair for an appointment. He didn't even acknowledge that we talked our that I made an appointment. Very standoffish and rude. Called Patron barbershop immediately and was in and out in 45 mins for both of my kids. Closer to my house too. I guess these people act as if they're the only barbershop in the state. Not worth the time or wait for rude and obnoxious barbers who obviously don't need the money. I get my kids hair cut once a week too. $240 a month. Someone else is more deserving of that money.

So my husband is quite picky with his hair so it has always been a bit tedious finding a shop we like. John has been amazing! Consistently providing amazing results - clean and precise! We go nowhere less - the atmosphere is incredible - the people incredible - it’s not just a haircut, it’s a whole experience! Julian cuts my elderly father’s hair and my father faves about how awesome he feels after he gets his hair cut! It’s something both of them look forward to and that for me is everything! If you are looking for THE PERFECT spot - this is it!

I'm not a complainer by nature, and Rob was such a genuinely nice person, but this haircut was not good... Not the worst ever, but the worst in about 10 years. (See picture.) When Rob was finishing up, I asked if he could layer my hair (i.e., not just cut the boundaries, but the middle areas). He wasn't sure what I meant and asked another barber who gave some guidance. When I got home, I realized that there was a lot that still wasn't cut. This meant that there were pieces of hair sticking out in the middle of my head. There were also a few other issues, too. Luckily I called the next day and Hayde was able to fix up my hair at no charge--she's AMAZING! I'll probably be seeing Hayde in the future!

John is one of the best to do it with the barber game. Please do not bother these people with dumb reviews, complaining about price, complaining about things that are so minute. He runs a great staff of barbers and truly all of them are great people. The people coming on here to leave bad reviews A. Are used to going to sport clips for $9.99 or don’t understand the concept of a barber shop. The newer guys just starting will for the most part take walk ins but if you want someone specific then call and make an appointment even if they tell you it can’t be that day. Remember when people are booked it’s for a reason( they do a good job) so stop complaining and if you don’t like it go to sport clips or china town and get you a $4.99 haircut. First of all, love the location. Very close to where I live. This is a great place for Men and children alike. Everyone is very polite and alert. Ive been to some barber shops where you walk in and nobody talks to you. Not the case here! The skills: these guys are master's of their craft. Ive seen a lot of their work and never seen a bad cut. Personally, I have only had Kevin cut my hair and my son's and it went really well. Kevin is highly skilled and patient with my son who has sensory issues. I am very thankful to be a client of House of Barbers. Also, men w beards, need to come here. They do it right! Hot towel and the works! I highly recommend this place for all walks of life! Don't go to TGIF or some place that can't even fade or taper correctly. Great yourself and have the master b
