House of Barbering

If there were 10 stars, that would be more applicable to the House of Barbering. I'm moving to Fargo, so amidst my running around, I searched hair cut on maps. This place was the first listing close by, so I called. That's when I was first introduced to Breckin (please God let that be how its spelled). I asked if they take walk ins, she said, "Yeah, I asked how about now, she said come on over. Here's why you need to pay attention to me. I have a flat top. It's not easy for most "stylists" or barbers to do this type of cut. Not Breckin, because she's a rock star, she can cut some hair boy. I'm so impressed with my haircut. Pretty sure it was $21, which is fair and cheaper than back in NJ. I'll go here and see Breckin for as long as she works there. Thanks for reading and as always, hav

Kamiryn did a great job trimming up my hair. The shop is newly renovated and has a great vibe. Very bright and clean, and free coffee available with your haircut. Cash only, but an ATM is available.

Very impressed with both the atmosphere and the pleasantness. It's your old fashioned barbershop and Patty and crew are great! Good conversation and Patty does a great job of listening and making recommendations if you aren't sure what is best for your hair type. First cut ended up exactly what I was hoping for. I'm sold as a repeat customer and will happily return going forward. Pricing is fair the services offered will be considered very heavily in the future. Thanks!!!

*Under new ownership. Patty is now down the street at Top Notch Barbershop* Review below is from 2019 for Patty: Been going here for about 15 yrs. Patty is great and prices have been reasonable. I did cheat a few years back and tried one of the 'guy salons' that hand you a beer at the door. I think I paid twice as much for a 17yr old gal with no clue how to cut mens hair. Won't make that mistake again!

I was leaving Fargo this morning to continue my road trip when I saw the sign for this barber. I'm glad I stopped and went in! The stylist was so nice and was very experienced. She made sure I got exactly what I wanted done (sides buzzed into a fade while keeping the rest of my hair long) and communicated well. I'm happy with the cut and with the price too. Highly recommend to anyone in the Fargo area.
