Hosanna Houston Church

I have been attending Hosanna Houston Church for 2 years. I love it! The Pastor is not afraid to tell it how it is. He teaches the truth and that is what is all about. I have been learning so much and applying it in my life. I am happy God lead me to Hosanna. Thank you Pastor and church volunteers.

Visited here last Sunday not expecting much because it is non-denominational but was wonderfully surprised by the warm welcome, great praise and worship, and yes a great, moving sermon by the pastor's brother since the pastor was at a conference in another country. He also sings great as part of the worship team that is wonderful as well. Overall, it was a great service. Thank you God for such a blessed church!! This church really tries to deliver the gospel to save people through the only possible way, Jesus!!

I moved from California two years ago and attended the same church my whole life because my dad is a Pastor there. I was very sad that I would never find another church where I would feel comfortable and be able to serve in. My co-worker invited me to Hosanna and my husband and I came. The moment we parked in the parking lot we felt as we were parking in our home driveway. I didn't say anything to my Husband and he didn't say anything to me. We were greeted with so much love and smiles. Once church was over we got in our car we both looked at each other and said "were home" Hosanna is Home. From the moment you walk in and leave.

I visited this church's youth group for a short period of time in the early 2000's. It may have changed a lot since then and I only knew a small group of people, but the people I knew were extremely legalistic, controlling, unhealthy, and theologically unsound. I think they meant well and wanted to "help me", but one day it hit me that I was being pulled into a cult. I cut off all ties to my friends from this church and found a different Bible-teaching church. My friends became so angry about me leaving. There were times in my high school where I literally had to hide from my old friends who attended Hosanna so I could avoid their pressure and attempts to "save me". They were so mean and nasty to the kind Christian kids who attended other churches. They thought that they were the only

I have been attending for close to 15 years now. This Church has people that are real and an atmosphere of love and hope. The teaching and preaching is outstanding and the worship experience is new, fresh and relevant. I must take a few moments to address Loralee. I am so sorry that you came by at such a time that financial assistance was not available. I have personally been at the church offices during office hours for over six years. We have help many poor souls. When our funds were low, I have taken money out of my own wallet to help some one along. We are a charitable organization that depends upon the generosity of our members to give. Many folks believe that a large church building equates to constant supply of money...sadly not true.
