Hornell Spa and Nails

Visited yesterday evening for the first time! I got an acrylic fill with gel polish. The staff were nice, talkative, and welcoming. Lily, the owner, is so nice! I like the green and purple color flakes for Halloween! :)

I called the day before and they were able to get me right in. I didn’t have to wait at all. As soon as I picked the color I wanted, they had me go to a chair. I was getting a mani-pedi with a full set. I just got the basic pedicure, nothing fancy, but I did do gel. The man doing the pedicure was quiet, but took his time and did a very nice, clean job. The only problem with it was I ended up hating the color, but I chose it and didn’t know until it was on so I didn’t say anything. That was my fault not theirs. The person that did my manicure was very talkative and friendly. I can take either, quiet or talkative, I’m good with both. Absolutely ZERO stars if i could. As soon as i walked in I showed them exactly what I wanted and they told me it would be 55 dollars after I sat down in the chair the lady just turned on the water and walked away to work on someone else I sat in COLD water for 30 min while watching & waiting being told to hold on they’re almost finished with everyone else while starting on others. There were people coming in there after me that they started working on before me and all I asked for was for polish on my toes. After they finally started on me after ONE HOUR of waiting she started scrubbing my feet with the COLD water and told me oh 75 dollars. She hasn’t even started. What really upset me was how disrespectful the staff were, they were giving people dirty looks and laughing at them, and then

Updated review they have been doin very sloppy work for a good 7 months. I asked for something they don’t no how to do it, or tell me it has to be done a certain way. I’ve been to many nails salons and know how it’s done. I’ve been coming here for about a year very loyal customer and tip well. I would expect for them to know what I want . When paying my hard earned money I expect to leave out happy

I got my nails done yesterday they are fantastic, great price and the workers are lovely. This was my first time trying a Hornell nail salon and I will definitely be returning!! The woman doing my nails was so lovely to chat with and very sweet and did exactly what I wanted I only showed her a picture and didn’t have to say a thing she was excellent.
