Nothing but frustration trying to cancel subscription to the Honolulu Star Advertiser. Cancelling due to upcoming move. Got the renewal notice in the mail yesterday and told my fiance to go ahead and cancel. There is not an option to return the renewal notice and declaring you want to cancel the subscription, just the friendly reminder that they will automatically bill your card if you don't cancel by a certain date. The notice did provide a phone number to their subscription desk and that is where the frustration begins. Yesterday, my fiance called the subscription desk three times and each time was placed on hold automatically.
