Hive Salon Studios

I’ve rented studios at two Hive locations now and it’s always been great. A huge plus is having an in-house maintenance crew. Any needed repairs are taken care of within a day or two. The owner is very present and approachable, and the site manager drops in regularly and is proactive in dealing with any issues that arise. The common areas are always kept clean and fresh. It’s great having a huge break room and kitchen for tenants, as well as plenty of laundry facilities. Most of all, my clients love it! They always comment on what a cool place it is, and I agree.

Having my own studio at the Hive has been such a wonderful experience! Super quiet which is such a nice change of pace for anyone looking to get out of the loud and chaotic nature of the salon. The owners are super helpful, understanding, and generous. They have an awesome referral program and make sure to spread cheer during the holiday season by giving everyone a week free of rent. They are also super quick with any concerns, questions, or issues you may have. Maintenance is also super quick, friendly, and helpful. Super recommend if you're looking to move forward as an independent stylist/esthetician!

As someone new to the Richmond area, stumbling upon this place felt like hitting the jackpot! I had been looking for a new hair stylist and I saw that this place just opened near me. I have been to a few of these kinda of "studio for rent" places as I prefer to support small business owners but I think this is by far the best I have seen. The space is super clean, spacious and modern-looking. The first impression is a stunning mural right as soon as you walk in! Lots of comfy seating as well while you wait for your appointment. One of my favorite parts though has got to be the free on-site parking in the back. I absolutely love having a space at Hive Salon Studios on Cary! The building is beautiful and the location is great.

I love all the amenities included and they even have a maintenance fellow who will paint, hang shelves, etc. in your studio!!
