My husband brought our son and they both got a hair cut, both looked amazing and the service was outstanding. Friendly staff, clean shop. Five stars!!! ❤️
His shop is a little bit outdated but Bruno is a stand-up guy. I have been going to him for years. If you like old school barbers who will remember your name and ask you about your family when you come in, Bruno’s your guy. Solid, straight-forward haircut complimented with a shoulder massage (I often wonder how many people have tried to buy that contraption he wears on his hand!). His prices have gone up within the last year or two but if you know Bruno the way I have come to know him it’s a small price to pay for the sincere gentleman’s handshake and appreciative “thank you” you receive on your way out. Bruno and his shop are a staple in the area and I am happy to support him!!!
Old school, no frills, nothing fancy. Great massage at end. I like the fact that it's fast (about 15 min or so on avg). Time is money, and he gets me in and out swiftly. I see the complaints about price, which is a bit ridiculous. Essentially, he is "billing" a $56 an hour rate. Anything less than $25, you might as well do it yourself, or have your blind cousin do it for $9. If anyone is charging less than $25 per half hour worth of ANY type of work, I would highly question their skill set. It's a skilled profession. Your avg. mechanic charges you $90-$140 an hour, your lawyer charges you $300+ per hour. I think McDonalds and Wal-mart workers make $15+ an hour, and your complaining that he makes a tiny bit more than them, and still has to pay his stores rent. Until you own your own busin
Growing up in Norwalk CT, Bruno's was a staple for me. Especially during my time in the National Guard. I could always count on a fantastic cut and no issues during inspection. Now that I live in Florida I miss going in for my regular cut, so whenever I find myself back for a visit I make sure to swing by for a trim. Always a professional cut, and a friendly conversation. All finished off with a neck and shoulder massage. A+++ always.
Bruno runs an old school shop - he got his barbering license before most of his clients, including me, were born. He's a skilled professional, who gives you a good cut in about 15 minutes. I wouldn't trust my hair - he does a lot with a little - and my beard to anyone else. A word about price: He's in Fairfield County in a business district, where rents are going to medium high. Not like Greenwich, but not like Stonington either. If you want cheap (and bad) go to SuperCuts. If you want a pro job, go to Bruno. And the "but it was only 10-15 minutes!" Yeah, so you want him to take LONGER to give you the same cut? I want to get in, get my hair cut and get on with my day.
