I took my 11yo child (referred by another local HD), with fine yet very curly/coiled hair, in to see Tristany for a trim and for some "learning knowledge" today. Tristany was so very patient, she explained my g-daughter's hair care, to us both, throughout the visit. There was no sales pitch for me to buy a single thing. She just took care of my little girl. My child is normally timid around new ppl, Tristany was amazing and made her feel comfortable. She also succeeded in making her feel good about her hair again.(🎉) Tristany is definitely their curl gurl!! THANK YOU TRISTANY!!😊💞

I am a 66 yoa woman with thin hair. My daughter booked my appt with this salon to treat me to professionals. I paid $200 to get what I thought would be special, great treatment. Far from it. I was given to a young girl apprentice. The color I chose I did not get. I got the color 'Mel' tried to direct me to get. Trimming my hair tiny bits at a time for five minutes is not trimming. Styling was horrendous and when daughter complained about it 'Mel' put me in her chair and said, "I forgot you are a grandma and need grandma curling." $200 later... embarrassed and humiliated. Sophia did my hi lites for the first time and I’ve found my girl! She was careful not to overlap my blonde and made it the perfect shade. And, her blow dry and style really put it over the top for me! I highly recommend Sophia!

Tristany is awesome with curly hair . I’ve had two years of horrible hair cuts in Gainesville. I finally feel like myself . Thank you Tristany. She’s also very kind and down to earth.

Lainey did an outstanding job! She listened and talked with me about the different ways she could style my hair. She was professional and kind. The salon was clean and everyone was friendly! I highly recommend HFOS!
