Heavenly Foot Massage

I booked a signature foot massage 60 min massage for my nieces birthday. One would assume a 60 signature foot massage( $75 plus $20 add on head massage)would include 60 mins for the massage on your feet only. I only included the add on because I thought it would be feet only for the $60 This place only does 15 mins on each foot and then they split the remainder of your time with a horrible head massage(it tangle her hair) a so so shoulder & hand massage the 60 mins includes filling the foot water bowl with lukewarm ish water. She asked for the water to be warmer it was filled up again to only about 3 inches the water was still not hot. The decor of the lobby is nice. The back where you get the massage is clean. I’m very disappointed today. This is my fourth visit to Heavenly Foot Massage and I decided to go for their most expensive service. The massage started with the upper body massage and lots of oil applied to my shoulder/back area. I told the masseuse (and then the front desk lady, because my masseuse couldn’t understand me) that I did not want oil applied. She explained that it was just cream, but I know the difference between cream and oil. So for about 20 minutes, I had a difficult time relaxing, while being slathered on my neck back and into my hair area with “cream.” I don’t mind the upper body massage, but I don’t want these chemicals in my hair, and in my case, rubbing over a recently healed incision on my shoulder. 10,000/10. There are very few things I love more than a foot massage, and this spa absolutely delivered - truly one of the best I’ve visited. My fiancé and I each booked the 60-minute Signature Foot Massage, and it was bliss from start to finish. Victoria and Yaritza were incredible. The service included not only an amazing foot massage but also neck, arm, hand, and scalp work. The hot stones, foot soak, heated neck wrap, and eye pillow made it feel like a full-body reset. The pressure was perfect, and I stayed warm and snug under the blanket the whole time. If you have a little downtime in downtown, treat yourself. This spot is a must.

I dislike giving low scores; however, this occasion warrants low score based on the service provided against price. The use of the word massage is used quite loosely here. There is no mention of what techniques/ modalities (if any) are being applied here. Upon entering you are greeted by a very friendly receptionist. There is no offer to explain what the services include unless you find it yourself and read what's posted which is as vague as the website description. My mistake was assuming that a foot massage would be more similar to reflexology or something close to that. I purchased the 1 hr 'massage' and it was a light foot rub at best. I had an amazing experience at Heavenly Foot Massage Spa! I opted for the 90-minute signature foot and head massage, and Valentina was truly excellent. Her professionalism, gentle touch, and calming presence made the entire session incredibly relaxing. I walked out feeling completely renewed and stress-free. Valentina’s expertise is a real asset to the spa, and I highly recommend her services. The only area for improvement would be the receptionist. When I called to confirm my appointment, she initially insisted that I didn’t have one. After some back and forth, she suddenly found it, but her manner and tone during the call didn’t reflect the soothing and welcoming vibe you’d expect from a high-quality spa.
