When I entered Healing Lotus Massage, I was welcomed very warmly. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and attentive. Since they didn’t speak English well, they immediately used their phone to translate, which helped us communicate smoothly. I had requested a 2-hour deep tissue massage, and the room was clean, well-lit, and ready for the session. The massage therapist was okay. She had good strength and technique, and I can say she was good — not bad — but not the best massage I’ve had either. Had a couples massage for Valentine's Day. We were excited to get in same day last minute. The massage was fine. The atmosphere was terrible. The door alarm goes off every time someone walks in or by it. "Hello Welcome" and dings over and over. Keep in mind this used to be a tanning salon so all the rooms are open at the top. You can hear everything through building. People waiting's conversations-the alarm-etc through the entire massage. The two people doing the massage didn't speak English. That was fine be it's not much to be said BUT my husband's lady left out to answer the door. The entire time she was gone was about a total of 10 minutes which were not made up at the end. The owner here literally tries to rob people. Lower your expectations from what you see on their paid google ads and understand that this is a “walk ins welcome” kind of place. If that’s your jam, then the only thing you need to take from my review is do NOT book a massage online. Otherwise, they will try to rob you and make you pay again at the desk, even if you show them the payment charge from your credit card side. Red flag is they do not send you a receipt and the manager is not physically there so they call her to argue with you about that payment. She had the audacity to say that she told me not to pay online and only in-person. Amazing massage (possibly the best I've ever had on my life) and none of the negatives others have complained about in their reviews. There is a language barrier but that didn't cause any real problems. The ambience was quiet with far eastern relaxinf music playing. There were no smells (and I'm extremely sensitive to odors). Everything was extremely clean. The staff was polite and knowledgeable. I will definitely return.
