This place is quite pricey, so I expected a more professional experience compared to other salons. I paid $260 for a cut and color, plus $20.80 tax and a $52 tip, totaling $332.80. During the consultation, the designer (Love) asked if I dye my hair at home. I answered yes, because of my gray hair. However, most of the coloring process was done by an assistant, and the designer only checked my hair briefly a few times. Because there were so many customers, she did not stay involved throughout the process. This salon is appointment-only, and I understand wanting to accommodate many clients, but quality should not be compromised. Don’t recommend for wavy thick hair Had an appointment with DJ. I have very thick chin length wavy/puffy hair and wanted to get more layers and bangs. Most of the time was spent thinning my hair out with thinning shears and with making comments on how thick my hair was/how much hair I had. I showed reference photos for the bangs I wanted, but she cut them much longer than the photo until I pointed it out. At the end, I wasn’t even shown the back of my head (which I thought was normal). I thought the haircut was okay, though overpriced for the area, until I came home and washed it, and my hair turned into a frizz ball from the aggressive thinning sheers. That works for straight hair, but not wavy hair, as now I have tons of very short flyaways sticking out of my head. My hair looks nothin

I cannot recommend HBL Salon enough, especially for my fellow mamas-to-be! I came in at 36 weeks pregnant looking for a toner/gloss refresh, and from the moment I walked through the door, I felt completely seen and cared for. Love, was incredible. She is clearly knowledgeable about hair care for pregnant women. She took the time to ask detailed questions about my comfort level and was very intentional about which areas to avoid or emphasize to ensure everything was safe and relaxing. The entire process was smooth and efficient. Most importantly, I walked out loving how my hair turned out. It was exactly the "glow up" I needed before my little one arrives. I have been going to Love for years, and she's the only person I can trust to understand what style I want and be able to fully achieve it! A lot of the styles I've asked for have been pretty unique, but she gets it right every time, both hair dye and cut. Despite the challenging requests, she's always willing to go for it with enthusiasm and excitement! I always recommend her to family and friends who are looking for a new salon~

I’ve been trusting Love to do my hair for the past 6 years & there’s no one better for the job. She’s delivered every single time, and there have been quite a few hours per visit she’s spent on me. Some of the colors I’ve requested have been a bit more demanding, but they come out even better than the photos I show her. The vibrancy and shade of the colors I ask her to do are always on point. For hair styling and cuts, I’ve mainly left it up to her. I give her a general length & ask for her suggestions based on my face shape, and I’ve loved every last one. Love and her staff are always so welcoming & kind, while keeping things professional. Couldn’t recommend them more!
