Harlow Beauty and Hair Salon

I do not recommend this salon. They charged me a $150 chemical fee. I couldn’t even complain because they made me sign a form of me acknowledging it was a thing. But they said it would be maybe $50 to $100 max. I wasn’t happy with the color when I left because it looked like half my head wasn’t colored and I paid for a full. So I went back and they fixed it that one part. But after another inspection of my hair I noticed that part of the back still wasn’t colored. So I put it half up to see if the back of my head was colored and it’s not. A lot was missed. After paying $550 (not including the tips) I expected to have PERFECT hair and to be able to trust my stylist to do the back of my head. I’m very unhappy and will not be coming back. As always! My stylist is professional and courteous and compassionate as well as amazing! Carine listens and see’s a vision but is amazing at making sure you understands! Thank you for always understanding! I have cancer and curly hair, so right now I have a lot of different hair growing. Carin makes sure I stay fashionable and sassy:) if you have curly hair I would definitely book with her:)

Harlow is hands down the best salon in Austin. As a true born-and-raised Austinite, I’ve been to so many salons — and I’ve definitely put my hair through it: extensions, highlights, lowlights, short cuts, full color changes… you name it. My hair reflects my mood, and the stylists at Harlow somehow make every single whim come to life flawlessly. Nikki is my go-to, but I’ve worked with several stylists and have never had anything short of an amazing experience. Sydney and Cici have saved me more than once, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anyone there — everyone is truly a master of their craft. And Colton? Absolute magic when it comes to booking appointments and keeping the vibes at an all-time high. I could go on and on, but you’ll just have to experience it for yourself. Go book y

Caren tames my thick, wild, frizzy hair with a perm and it comes out beautiful. It is hard to find anyone to do perms these days but she is the best I have ever had.

Everything was remarkable. This was my first visit but absolutely not my last one. Kaile rescued me from a shmullet (is it a shag - or a mullet?) haircut from another salon. Neither style is remotely my persona but she listened, carefully evaluated my hair, was tuned to what I wanted and would be comfortable with to improve the style. She nailed it. I cannot wait for my hair color appointment. The entire staff was inviting and consultive. Other patrons there during my visit were clearly having an equally great experience. Highly recommended.
