Harlem African Hair Braiding (Ask for Nafi)

Ask for Nafi! Beautiful work and excellent customer service. I got Knotless Boho braids and they came out gorgeous! I called yesterday, scheduled a next-day appointment with ease and she was very prompt. She ensured my appointment started on time by having her fellow stylist start when I arrived as she finished up another customer (whose Boho braids were flawless as well). 100% recommend!

This is a no-frills salon, but don’t let that fool you. Nafi was incredibly fast, precise, and professional. She handled the entire appointment solo: braiding, managing nonstop calls for appointments, mentoring other stylists, and still staying focused and composed throughout. The quality of her work speaks for itself, and her prices are fair—especially considering the speed and neatness of the install. You can tell she’s in high demand for a reason. I left not only with beautiful braids but also with deep respect for her hustle and entrepreneurship. Highly recommend if you’re looking for skill, speed, and a braider who knows her craft. UPDATE: 3-weeks later and the braids are holding up nicely during a beach vacation (video).

Nafi and her sister do AMAZING work!!! I made an appointment and they were prompt, friendly and professional. My hair came out how I wanted to look suuuuper hot and I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back and recommending them to all my peeps!

Came back for the second time to get my hair braided and Nafi did an incredible job on my hair again! They are very fair on the price and are just the nicest ladies inside. Make sure you ask for Nafi when you come!!! She even gave me some tips on the hair I bought and I know the better hair to get for next time. It might be busy and a little packed but the work is worth it.

I get so many compliments anytime my hair is done by Nafi. She is really skilled at what she does and her parting is perfect!! She will have you leaving the salon looking gorgeous. She is super busy so keep that in mind when booking. Her nieces are super talented too 🩷 Repeat Customer :)
