From the start, Shaquille was incredibly attentive and took the time to really listen to my concerns and problem areas. He made sure to tailor the massage exactly to what my body needed. The room was perfectly set—the temperature was just right, and the heated bed added an extra level of relaxation. His pressure was spot-on throughout the entire session: strong where I needed deep work, yet still very soothing. The staff on-site were courteous and professional; however, my experience with the manager was extremely disappointing. I scheduled my appointment over the phone and clearly explained that I am pregnant. I specifically asked whether the peel I had received a few years ago was safe during pregnancy. I was assured that it was and proceeded to book the appointment based on that confirmation. My card was charged $150, and I was informed that I would receive a $50 promotional gift card, which I intended to use toward an upgrade. Upon arrival and check-in, the esthetician informed me that I could not receive the peel because I am pregnant. I was very disappointed to hear that my sister Donalda did not have a good experience when she used the massage I had transferred to her. I currently reside in Georgia and have been a member of Hand & Stone for quite some time now. I was hoping that she would have had the same experience I usually have at my location with (professional, attentive and knowledgable) masseuses. It was also surprising that management never responded to her review after she specified how disappointed she was after her experience. Hand & Stone please try and do better with addressing and acknowledging your customers that have received unsatisfactory service.

This establishment should not be considered a spa — it operates more like a money pit. Everything about the experience is focused on extracting more money rather than providing genuine care, professionalism, or transparency. The environment may look polished on the surface, but everything that glitters isn’t gold. Behind the branding are questionable billing practices, constant upselling, unclear memberships, and a noticeable lack of accountability when issues arise. Multiple reviews echo the same concerns, which speaks volumes. A spa should feel restorative and trustworthy. This location feels transactional, misleading, and stressful. If you’re looking for wellness, clarity, and ethical business practices, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

My sister in Georgia who talked so highly about Hand and Stone allotted me one of her massages so that I could try it out for myself. Well all I can say is the ladies in the front were amazing but then it went downhill once I went in the back for the massage. 1st the room felt like a sauna and smelled of funk. My masseuse smelled of onions and the massage was ticklish and not relaxing at all, didn’t focus on the area that I said that was giving me problems and left all of that massage oil on me after the massage.
