Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

My DIL is off duty and home for the holidays while my son is deployed so I decided to treat her to a massage, I know if they were stationed close by she’d definitely be back often but now I know next time the are able to come home and visit I will for sure bring her back, she had a great experience and enjoyed her massage. I waited with my granddaughter and the staff were very pleasant and friendly, the spa is always clean and exudes a relaxing atmosphere even in the lobby

I don’t normally leave reviews unless my experience was that pleasant, that I feel it is worth taking the time to do so. Lilian did my facial and for the first time I didn’t feel rushed! It was the end of the night, so i’m sure she was exhausted. But she still took the time to explain everything to me in detail. I have acne prone skin so I typically need deep extractions and she did great with this. I even bought the membership so that I can continue to book with her. It was nice to feel that someone genuinely cared to learn about you. Thank you!

I have been a member for quite a few years and ensured price increases without complaint. However, they have also changed terms and conditions which is a pain. During the pandemic I paid so I have amassed a large number of service credits, and with the changes, they cannot be gifted as before, so price increases and changes have created less value for me. To cancel, I would lose my banked credits, which means I have to keep paying until I get down to zero. At that time, I will certainly execute the cancellation. Canceling would also allow me to join a place that has stretching and sports massages. I have had mostly good experiences with exceptional facials — seriously — they are great. Now my biggest complaint: they cancelled on me! You, as a client better not be late and better not can

Membership is a good deal so I did join even though my first experience wasn't good. The massage therepist I got wouldn't let me tell her my issues, cut me off mid sentence. She said she would find what I needed and I should trust her. I made the mistake of letting her shut me down because a perfectly fine part of the therepy required her to hold my ankle and pull. Unfortunately, the first ankle she did was the one that was recovering from surgery. I recommend this place but don't ever accept a massage therepist that doesn't let you say what you need and what areas are sensitive.

My last visit was 2013 , sadly had to move from ocean county . Fast forward to 2024 I’m back on the shore and still amazing professional service from Hand Stone Toms River location. Had a classic facial by Sara ! Absolutely amazing. It’s day one after my facial my skin feels amazing . Stress free . I’ll definitely book another service . Hopefully once a month to destress and pamper myself.
