Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I had a wonderful experience at Hand & Stone and wanted to give a special thank you to Edith. She gave me an excellent massage that helped me decompress after a long week and really worked out some tension I was having in my lower back. She was friendly, kind, patient, and very attentive to what my body needed. I also want to mention how welcoming the front desk staff always are. From the moment you walk in to when you leave, they’re friendly and accommodating and make the whole experience feel relaxing and easy. Overall, it’s a great environment, and I really appreciate the level of care and professionalism here. Thank you to Edith and the team for such a positive experience.

I had the most pleasant experience with my therapist, Yemeka White. She brings over 20 years of experience to her practice, and it truly shows. During our session, she did an excellent job of listening to my body and adjusting her techniques accordingly. She also took extra time to provide thoughtful recommendations for hydration and stretching to support my overall wellness. Honestly, this felt like so much more than an express massage — it was truly an experience. I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and valued. I highly recommend her services.

I booked a prenatal massage. I really enjoyed the environment — the space was very clean and everyone was polite, including the front desk staff. However, I don’t believe the massage therapist reviewed my intake paperwork before starting. She also barely asked any questions to better understand exactly what I was needing during the session. As a pregnant hairstylist who stands for long hours, I really needed focused attention on specific areas — especially my neck. Unfortunately, that wasn’t addressed until the very end of the massage, and it was only about 3 minutes of quick neck work. Overall, I wasn’t fully satisfied with the service itself. I would consider visiting again, just not with the same therapist.

Jen, my esthetician, was amazing! Not only was she very knowledgeable and spent time truly caring for my skin and treating my concerns, but the relaxation focus was not missed. The face and shoulder massages, Jen’s calming demeanor, and general ambiance of the room gave me my hour of escape as well. Alejandra and Miriam at the front desk were very kind and helped begin my relaxation and pampering before I even went back for service. 10/10 will be returning!

I have been a client of Alma’s for years. Lost contact with her for a little while and just so happened to book a facial and she was the one who was assigned. Alma is by far the best when it comes to facial’s. She’s friendly, attentive and I always feel like she provides and recommends the best treatments for what I need. I always leave looking amazing and the results after 1 session have been noticeable. I now have a membership at Hand & Stone Summerwood to get a facial every month by Alma. I promise you will not be disappointed! Oh and not to mention the place is spotless and the staff is always super friendly and accommodating.
