I had an overall great experience here. I went for the first-time guest haircut. I was welcomed with a smile and drink, and then quickly sat for my appointment. Susan, who cut my hair, was friendly, professional, and an overall joy to chat with. I was very please with the haircut she gave me. She took her time and was attentive to detail. I highly recommend Susan and Hammer & Nails generally!

I've been going to Erick at Hammer & Nail Barbershop for a while now, and he never disappoints. Erick is incredibly skilled and takes real pride in his craft. Every cut is clean, sharp, and exactly what I ask for. On top of that, he's friendly, professional, and always makes the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere at Hammer & Nail is already great, but Erick takes it to the next level. Highly recommend booking with him if you're looking for quality and consistency.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I came in for a simple trim — I specifically asked for only half an inch off the top — but the stylist ended up cutting nearly two inches. I understand that mistakes and miscommunication can happen, but what truly bothered me was the way the situation was handled. Instead of attempting to fix the issue or even acknowledge it properly, the stylist walked away and gave up on the job. That kind of response feels unprofessional and disrespectful — not just to the client, but to the salon as a whole. I did receive a 50% discount for the inconvenience, which I appreciate, but relying solely on bringing a photo as a reference isn’t the answer. Proper training and accountability would go a much longer way in preventing and resolving these situations

Best barbershop experience I’ve ever had. Cleanliness 10/10 service 10/10 people 10/10. Men don’t often spoil themselves, and this place offers that, worth every penny and more!!!! I’ve been to barbershops with 2 hour wait times and don’t tell you the price until you’re done and use unclean equipment leaving me with razor bumps NEVER AGAIN, thanks to HAMMER AND NAILS. Highly recommend this place

Erick never misses! Every time I get a cut from him, I walk out looking fresh and feeling great. Super consistent, always makes me look my best. Highly recommend.
