Since 2009 I have looked near and far for a salon that does a great job with black hair. No easy feat in Midtown Manhattan. All this time, this gem was only a 10 minute walk away!! I have no idea why I had no idea, but now that I know, I'm pretty sure I will be with them for years to come. I've always had very low maintenance hair, but breakage set in and I had to make a drastic change. New Year, no do. I knew I needed real professionals for this job, and boy am I happy! Tai did a great job executing my vision. I couldn't be more pleased. Now I look like a professional with great hair!

I was refer to this salon by my best friend. She was brought here by her mother, so I trusted that she wouldn't recommend me a place that I would not be satisfied with. I am not big into going to hair salons, especially since I am natural and workout a lot. I have always had the best experience with Walter at Hairstyling by Joseph. I’ve been coming to him for over 10 years and still come back even though I’ve moved out of state. He’s so knowledgeable about my hair and always takes his time with me. Walter is amazing. Can’t wait to get back there!
