I have been going to Hair Story in Fairfax since mid 2000s. Their hairstyling services and staffs are super amazing. The master hair stylist Mr. Tim will make you stylish, beautiful, gorgeous and handsome. I highly recommend Hair story. Thank you!

I had the best haircut ever! Young was my hair stylist and he was super great and gave me good advice after I showed him reference photos of what I wanted. I asked for soft layers and curtain bangs and got it perfectly. For medium women's length, it was $45 in cash which was an amazing deal and price. The only hard part was calling in because they didn't pick up during the evening time but once I called in the morning, I was able to go in that day and it was great. Overall awesome experience and I would totally go again. Really loved my hairstyle and they were very fast!

I went to Hair Story well before their stated closing time, as listed on their website, but was denied service. To make matters worse, they had already turned off the lights before the end time, seemingly to ensure no one else would walk in. It’s extremely frustrating when a business doesn’t follow its own posted hours. I expected them to honor their schedule and provide service, but instead, I was turned away. Very disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning. If you’re looking for reliability, this is not the place.

I got soft layers on my pretty long hair, it turned out good! People said they have a problem with arranging appointments and speaking English but in my experience, neither are true. They answered the phone, I even had to reschedule twice and had no problems. My hairstylist, Young, spoke great English and conversed with me. I noticed they have really good teamwork, someone was washing my hair then Young did my hair when he was done with his other client and two ladies blow dried my hair while he tended to another client shortly. I think due to my long hair, the price was higher than what the other reviews said. It ran me $53 before tip but no complaints because I really like my hair.
