Waxing The City

I had an amazing experience with Jennifer today. She did a fabulous job and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was easy to talk to, super informative, and honestly the whole appointment was a complete vibe. I’ve been getting Brazilians for years, and this was truly one of the best I’ve ever had — not just because of the quality of her work (which was excellent), but because of her personality and professionalism. Jennifer constantly checked in throughout the service, explained what she was doing, and made the experience feel relaxed and stress-free. If you’re nervous or just want someone who really knows what they’re doing and makes you feel at ease, I can’t recommend Jennifer enough. I’ll definitely be back!

I had a great first experience with Asmita! It had been a while since my last wax appointment so I was a little nervous but Asmita is such a pro. She made me feel at ease and created a fun and relatively painless experience! Would highly recommend her and this place for their excellent customer service.

Had my eyebrows done by Asmita who was wonderful. I rebooked with her, but she had an emergency and had to leave early, so I got rebooked with Jennifer. She was great too. I’ve tried 3 other waxing places in the area and was underwhelmed… and would wait until back in Connecticut!! Not only are they good at waxing, but they are friendly and kind. Finally found the place here (after 10 years) where I will be returning!

I had an amazing experience having my brows done by Asmita. I had been going to another waxing company for brow waxing prior to discovering Waxing the City, and had been disappointed with the outcome multiple times. Yet, I am disappointed no more! Asmita did an amazing job, and my brows haven't looked this good in ages. The heat of the wax is perfect and I can already tell Asmita has superior technique and experience compared to the place I was going before. I am definitely excited to finally have consistency in how my brows are done, and will def be back.
