I was excited to learn that a scalp spa had arrived in Amityville, and even happier to find the scalp treatment at a reasonable price (set for new customers). But there were some things that made the experience a little less pleasant. I attempted to arrive 15 minutes early, as suggested when I made the appointment, only to find the spa wasn’t even open until the beginning of my appointment time. There was a bit of a language barrier, but thankfully I’m no stranger to scalp massages. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known what to do amidst the minimal English and vague gesturing from the staff.
