Mary at Hair Mechanix is simply the best. I’ve been a client since 2011 and she always does a great job. Her best quality is her ability to really listen to clients about how they want their hair to look, then translating that into a cut. Her prices are still reasonable too.

Mary is my go-to. I’ve been to more “expensive” salons in the area (which all were mediocre) and the work she does here in HALF the time is amazing. I’m not trying to stay in the salon for hours! I just want a quality job and go home!!!!! Whenever I have friends that come into town I make them get their hair done here too LOL. She also has clients that have seen her for like 20 years. That says somethin’!!! Her head massages rock too. Best one I’ve ever gotten. Keep doing your hair magic Mary cause you are THE BEST.

This was my first time at this salon, and I have to say that Mary is super friendly, authentically herself, made me feel comfortable, and did exactly what I wanted with my hair. The prices are affordable, didn’t have to pay $100 for a haircut, and I will definitely be back!

MARY IS THE BEST!! I recently had to move from Portland however luckily came back up for a quick visit and Mary fit me in and made my extremely 'crazy thick wavy hair' feel and look great. I have been going to her for 10+ years and do not trust anyone else with my (CTWH)!

Was there to get my daughters hair colored and got a very uneven job done. (Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned we were from our of town?) Coloring not even close to scalp etc. the part on my daughters head, is not even close to purple? I will do it myself in the future! She way overcharged, and did a crappy job! 110.00? I feel like a sucker!!
