Hair Extraordinaire an AVEDA concept salon

I hate to have to write this review but I feel it's important since it was good reviews that brought me to this salon in the first place. I went to Skyler for an all-over color. I asked for a rich, warm, vibrant brown but ended up with a reddish tint that you can only see in certain light on my virgin hair color (dark brown, almost black). Basically no difference. I noticed this at the salon but didn't want to make a fuss and hoped it was because my hair was still damp upon leaving. Unfortunately that was not the case and I did not get anything close to the shade I asked for, which I described both verbally and with multiple photos. This was the first time I have entered a salon in years. My hair was down mid back, not appropriate for my age. However, since my hair is falling out, I was reluctant to let anyone touch it. I’ve heard great things about Skylar so I went to see her. She is AMAZING. I walked out like a new woman, and looking years younger. My friend who recommended her gets color and it looks fabulous. I will be taking better care of my hair in the future with Skylar and Hair Extraordinaire!

Skylar did an excellent job fixing and updating my highlights. She took time to understand what I needed and the results were excellent. The salon was clean and welcoming and all the other staff that assisted me were wonderful. Their prices are also very reasonable, especially for the high quality service.

Skyler is amazing!! She transformed my dull, overgrown hair into a beautiful balayage and a cut that frames my face perfectly. I hardly recognized myself! She is so sweet and SO talented. The place is very clean and inviting, the prices are good, but I’ll be coming back because of Skyler.

Just got a great cut from Skylar!! She's awesome and knows her stuff. I have thick curly hair and haven't gotten a good cut in awhile, and she did a great job layering so my hair doesn't frizz out. She is also meticulous about keeping areas touched by guests clean, I appreciate her for that. And the price was extremely reasonable, $55 for a shampoo and cut. Thanks Skylar!
