I stopped into HD Salon and Spa while shopping local in Macomb, and I’m so glad I did. I picked up some great products and a few perfect stocking stuffers, but the real highlight was the service. They got me presentation-ready for an event I had that night, and I walked out feeling confident and looking fantastic. If you go, I highly recommend the scalp treatment—it was incredibly relaxing and made my hair feel amazing. Wonderful staff, great atmosphere, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be back! I normally don’t leave reviews like this, but I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent it from happening to someone else. I went in for a vibrant, multidimensional fantasy color (similar to the sunset galaxy style I showed the stylist), and what I left with was extremely disappointing. The final result looked nothing like what I requested — the color was patchy, uneven, and completely lacked the vibrancy or blend I asked for. The green and yellow tones were overpowering and clashed with the faded, muddy roots. It honestly looked unfinished and nothing like the reference image I provided. I came in for a root touch up and a style. I love going there. They are always so pleasant and welcoming. I feel so comfortable and relaxed like being with old friends. My hair comes out beautifully. I could not be any happier. I made my next appointment for a facial and a pedicure. I can’t wait. Great place to get spoiled and not break the bank.

The environment is calm, clean, and welcoming, and the massage space itself is private, quiet, and designed for total relaxation. Courtney took the time to ask about my pain points, pressure preferences, and any areas to avoid, which I really appreciated. She focused exactly where I needed it most and worked out tension I didn’t even realize I was still carrying. As someone who sits at a desk all day, my neck and back have never felt better. Chelsea always does a fabulous job!! I enjoy seeing her smile and hearing her laugh, we always have good conversations. She is wonderful at taking care of my nails, making sure they are strong and healthy. People always ask me who does my nails and nail art- they are very unique.
