Hair Cuttery Color & Haircuts - Schaumburg

Hi - i have been a haircuttery customer since 2006 - the same location & have never had any haircut related issues. But the last several times i have noticed something - which seems unethical to me. After a harcut - i picked up a bottle of shampoo & when i went to pay the tip (20%) - it was calculated on the cost of the service ($30) + the cost of the goods($20) - the tip must always be calculated on the service. I believe this is borderline malpractice. Most times i have not paid attention in the past until afterwards & i am sure most customers dont pay attention either. Receipt attached. After i noticed it - I asked for a part refund of the tips - which on $30 would be $6 and i was charged 10.38. I hope somebody pays attention to this - i would gladly pay a 30% tip on the service (which

I asked for a neapolitan hair with my natural brown kept, and my stylist, Dakota, did a wonderful job 💞 She was super sweet and appreciative, even if I was hardly talkative and quite awkward myself. I got exactly what I asked for. It took approximately five hours to complete. If I'm planning to get my hair dyed another color, I'll be going through her again.

Jordin was great. She really went the extra mile to make my hair look great for my event. Very professional and skilled at her trade ☺️👌 will be back again.

I just came from my haircut with Anna. She did an amazing job. I love my haircut. She offered advice and suggestions explaining what will work for my hair texture. I highly recommend Anna and will be going to her again!

Anna is a wonderful hairdresser. She took her time to understand what I want to do with my hair, and explain to me very well of what can be achieved. She is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I got a perm and she done really well, by checking on me if it's too tight, or if anything from the process is making me uncomfortable. And actually everything was well, and it's great to see how she cares. Thank you Anna for an excellent service. I'd come back again here, for hair service in the future. The whole experience is wonderful, from booking last minute (2 hours before my appointment) by phone, and luckily they have opening. This is on Monday evening. And I was greeted nicely at the place. I love it. And recommend it.
