Hair Cuttery Color & Haircuts - Fredericksburg

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this salon. I paid $250 for a color service, but my gray roots were not properly covered, the highlights were uneven (one side orange and the other blonde), and the distribution of highlights was inconsistent. When I returned to have it corrected, bleach was applied to all of my hair. During the process, my scalp was severely burned. The pain was intense — I could not even touch my scalp afterward because it was burning so badly. No client should ever experience a chemical burn during a professional service. Instead of fixing the issue, my hair condition worsened, and I left with damaged hair and a painful scalp. This situation has caused me physical pain and emotional distress. I had such a wonderful experience with Betty! She is incredibly kind, patient, and truly listens to what you want. Betty took her time, explained things clearly, and made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the appointment. My hair turned out exactly how I hoped—healthy, polished, and beautiful. You can tell she really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. If you’re going to the Hair Cuttery next to the new Publix, do yourself a favor and ask for Betty. She’s amazing!

Erynn did an amazing job on my hair and I feel much more confident because of it. I really appreciated that she took the time to also make notes about the style I chose so that future visits would be able to see them to know what I had done in the past. She went above and beyond and I really am glad that I chose to come to the Hair Cuttery, and I will definitely be coming back and requesting her in the future.

We cannot say enough about Autumn at Hair Cuttery.She's amazing.I brought my mom in the day after Thanksgiving and Autumn was wonderful.My mom had post-COVID hair loss.It's been about a year and a half since she's technically had her hair done , and Autumn was very sweet and gentle , and did not touch her bangs, because mom would be very upset if somebody touches her bangs. LOL I returned, right before Christmas and Autumn was so sweet.Very professional did a great job and happy to say I was her last customer of the day because they were closing early for Christmas.And i'm grateful they did that. Rhonda is always a pleasure to visit. She connects with her customers, she's great and fast at her job, and she's fun to talk to. Rhonda has done my hair for a few years; when my hair was curly before chemo straightened it. Today she persuaded me not to cut as much as I wanted. She felt all I really needed was some layering on the top. It's evening now, and the fluffiness has calmed down AND I like it! I'm glad Rhonda let me know what would look good.👏
