Hair Cuttery

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! I waited an hour past my scheduled appointment to start with. I showed them a picture of exactlybwhatvI wanted. Then my hair was washed and the original stylist at that point said another stylist was going to cut it when she was done with her current client because she was better with cutting layers. The cut was layers and curtain bangs with pieces framing my face. The lady finally starts after another 45 minutes more! She did a half ass cut of bangs then grabbed clippers and starts trying to "cut the face framing". Then she cuts about 1/2 an inch off my hair. At that point she tells me that she can't cut it how I wanted so I didnt have to pay. I had to have her cut some pieces from the bangs because there was so many pieces way longer that I

I came to Malaya after a really traumatic local salon experience that made me avoid getting my hair done for almost a year. From the moment I sat in her chair I felt heard and at ease. She took her time, explained everything, and delivered absolutely beautiful results. Malaya restored my trust and confidence, and I'm beyond thankful I found her. She is truly a talented and exceptional stylist. I cannot recommend her enough.

I went a little over a year ago.. COMPLETELY disappointed in AMANDA, i asked for layers, keeping my length or just a trim with face shaping. Im not the type to speak up but i should’ve, i sat there and trusted the process, i had hair down to just above 4 inches from my belly button, i looked up once she was done and my hair was gone, she had cut it above my shoulders and attempted some layers but it looked like 2 strands of hair just sticking down the back.. i had to cut those off and just rock the bob, and after all that she had the audacity to ask me if i didn’t like my hair.. i thought i made it obvious and not only does she know nothing about curly hair but i also walked out tht salon looking like a just woke up or stuck my finger in an electrical socket but to this day she is the reas

Malaya did an amazing job with my blow out and curls. She listened to what I wanted, showed me pictures of examples on her tablet, and did exactly what I envisioned. Shes super easy to talk to and I had a great experience. Shes definitely an asset to this location!!

Christie is fabulous. She did what I asked, was efficient and very pleasant and professional. I got highlights and a cut. She does a great job.
