Hair Creations by Guita

I love Guita’s Hair creation. I found her last year just through a google search and I love everything- the ambiance of the salon and the care and treatment of my hair. My hair has become healthier exponentially which speaks to the quaint of products she uses and her skills as a colorist and a stylist. You can schedule appointments on line which is so convenient and she is very efficient and timely with all her appointments.

I went to Hair creation by Guita yesterday, which was special for me because it was my birthday. I wanted to do something special for myself, I had a silk press and a trim. Guita is very passionate about hair, doing hair is really her thing, she made me feel very comfortable. I was really happy that I came to her place. I add my before and after pictures, from now on. She will be my go to salon. you have to go there, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Guita. ❤

I saw Guita about 2-3 months ago, and overall, I had a good experience! The salon was a bit farther than I realized, so I was about 15-20 minutes late, but Guita was very gracious and still saw me, which I really appreciated. I had booked a shampoo & style online, but once she saw my kinky-curly (no relaxer for 10+ years) hair, she told me I had booked the wrong service and should have booked a silk press. Now, where I’m from, if a curly girl wants her hair straightened, that’s just a wash & style—but I get that more and more stylists are now calling it a silk press and charging accordingly. But, I’m just not fully on board with the whole rebranding of straightening Black girls’ hair. Anyways, she did let me know it would cost more, but I didn’t realize how much more until checkout.
