Today was my first time coming to Kim for a cut and her opinion on coloring since I’ve been coloring my hair for 10 years. She was absolutely the kindest and most genuine human being! The cut she gave me was perfect & her opinion about coloring was extremely helpful. Most stylist I have used just would continue to damage my hair with no advice. Kim on the other hand showed me what we could do and how to keep my dark thick hair beautiful and healthy with color in time. Such a great feeling in her salon, this is my new go to. 1000/10 recommend !

The only star I’m giving is because the owner was very polite in the beginning. I went to this salon with clear pictures of how I wanted my hair to look, but the result was completely different from what I asked for. I was very disappointed with how it turned out. When I expressed that I wasn’t happy, the owner — who did my hair — didn’t take any responsibility. She stayed polite, but it was clear she didn’t really care that I was unhappy with the result. I left feeling disappointed and unheard. Definitely not the experience I expected. She ruined my day and I had to go somewhere else again to redo my hair. I do NOT recommend this place.

After moving to NJ and having had the same wonderful hairdresser in NY for nearly 20 years, I thought it might take me a while to find a new hairdresser I could connect with...lucky for me I found Hair Couture by Kim right away. Everything from the atmosphere to the services are amazing! Sun made me feel comfortable and welcome the moment I walked in and knew exactly what to do for color and how to cut my hair to give it great shape and body. If you are looking for a relaxing experience and quality styling, this is the salon for you.

Kim has cut and styled my hair very nicely. She understood what I asked for and made suggestions on what would suit me according to my hairtype. Kim also gave me tips on how to maintain my hair. Will be a returning customer.

Run, don’t walk. Kim is by far one of the best hairdressers I have been to. (I have thick, curly hair that needs frequent upkeep so I’ve been to many hairdressers ) I went for a color and blow out. Kim was knowledgeable- knew which color would work best. Blow out was the best I’ve had in this area. It lasted full two weeks ( and I do run and sweat a lot ) She is focused on her work and strives for perfection . Salon is clean and has a nice vibe. All in all a fantastic experience and I’m so glad I found Kim!
