I only made my appt for a digital perm but Alex (maybe the business owner? or manager?) and Sky noted a haircut would help with the look and volume of the perm so I added that service too. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I feel completely heartbroken and disappointed after my experience here. I trusted Alex with my hair, getting a keratin straightening treatment done ($280). I followed every single instruction carefully- no washing for 2 days, only sulfate-free shampoo, serum, gentle care, everything I was told to do. But within 4 days, my hair was right back to curly, frizzy, and exactly the same as before. It’s like the treatment was never even done. My excitement turned into disappointment and now I feel i wasted time and money, and all that hope I had walking out of the salon was just taken away. I was looking for a local place to do my roots, I read the reviews and they were strong. I make my appt same day, Mai was wonderful as we messaged each other on specifics. She informed Mr Sky would be my stylist. I arrive and Sky is male, I’ve never had a male stylist. I was a bit nervous but remembered the reviews. Sky and Mai touch my hair, part my hair, look at my color, ask questions, it felt immediately I was working with experts. Sky mixes my color, pays close attention to the small details and protects my hairline, wraps it up and as I sit the dryer is on me. Even while rinsing there was a headrest in the bowl, so comfortable I never experienced before. Last Sky blow dried my hair, it was pretty straight, I asked for flat iron on my ends and he used the curl brush to add a flip. S

Got a hair cut for my daughter and I. Came in no appointment, they didn’t make it awkward cus we didn’t have one, or cus we are Latina females (it’s an Asian salon) but the guy they put us with didn’t speak to us had a girl translate to us so I’m going to assume he didn’t know English. Idk. Well my daughter’s hair cut is super cute, but it was about 2-3 inches shorter than she wanted. He didn’t part her hair and it freaked her out then he just kept cutting and cutting ultimately came out too short. I've come here several times over the last few years (with both Sharon and Alex) and always left with a great cut! They are both very patient and attentive to my requests. I have a LOT of hair and they go above and beyond with detailed layering and thinning. I also love that they take the time to walk through styling tips with me!
