Nico is an amazing hairstylist. He is smart, personable, and fun to be with. This is one of the best haircuts I have ever had. He makes suggestions, asks you what you want, and then we agree on the best way to move forward. Additionally, his salon is lovely, bright, and he plays the best freakin music ever! Thank you, Nico. I adore you. My hair is gorgeous!

I just received the best haircut in my life. . .and I am 75 years old. I have naturally curly hair and I am always disappointed with cuts and especially when I want to do a smooth style. I described my issues and desires on the phone and he understood me immediately texting me photos of what I was describing. Nico did a "dry" cut after it had been blown out straight and he did an amazing job! i was so pleased with the way it looked and the ease of caring for it (or not) that I did not wash my hair for a week because I did not want to "ruin" the style. when I finally did, I was so surprised at how great it came out with much less work than I anticipated. Looks like I just stepped out of a salon again. Highly recommend this talented stylist.

As other reviews have mentioned Nico is a special hairstylist. He's extremely devoted to what he does and passionate about making sure that you get the hairstyle you want. This is not your typical salon—it's an apartment fully decked out as a salon, and it feels intimate and personal. While you're there Nico is just present with you, and the sessions are long and do not feel rushed. For my cut, we erred on the side of keeping my hair really long and doing minimal work to it, but after two days I realized it wasn't the cut I had wanted—and Nico found time the next day to see me and we thoroughly talked it though and I left with a perfect haircut (and he didn't charge me for the second session). In my mind, that's pretty exceptional.

I have been a client of Nico's for over 18 years, and I can confidently say he is the BEST hairstylist I have ever worked with. I will fly across the country for one of his haircuts. His cuts are consistently precise, thoughtful, and tailored perfectly to the individual — true perfection every single time. His level of skill, consistency, and attention to detail is unmatched, and after nearly two decades, I still would not trust my hair to anyone else. If you are looking for excellence, he sets the standard.
