I’m not normally one to write a review but my mom and I had such a great experience with Emily that I really wanted to share it. My mom has had worsening hair thinning for many years. She’s not one to be too concerned about what others may think but her hair loss has been leaving her increasingly self conscious lately. She asked for my help and I found Emily. What an amazing person Emily is. From the moment I reached out to her on her website she was kind, knowledgeable and seemingly excited to help us. Based on the pictures I sent her and what I told her about my mom and what she was looking for, she ordered at least 4 wigs and toppers to have in salon for my mom to try at her consultation. She made my mom feel so comfortable. She asked questions to figure out what exactly she was

Emily is just great! My hair is long and wavy, and she knows just what to do with it. It's a one-person shop, and she gets booked, so plan accordingly. She is very good about getting back to you with sudden openings, though. Organized, nice, and good at what she does - you will not go wrong with this stylist!

Emily has been cutting and styling my hair for almost a decade! She's the perfect combination of talented, reliable, and efficient. I travel 30 minutes from Somerville every 5 weeks or so and it's completely worth it.

There is a stylist that works here who has the nastiest attitude and will find a way to confront you and impose her own will upon you. She has such a horrible demeanor that the entire lobby was relieved when she left for the day. We couldn’t believe someone of her character could be trusted to do anyone’s hair. Not even a pets hair!.
