Hair Barn

I went there a few weeks ago to get blonde highlights. I was quoted $130 when I called in. I was told that Britlyn had availability that next day. I went in for my appointment and she asked me if I was ok with platinum highlights. I said yes and showed her a picture of what I wanted. My hair is darker but I’ve had this done several times over the years. Well she got started and then towards the end she mentioned she bleached my hair. Not highlights bleached my whole head. Then charged me $195. Well when I got home my hair started breaking off at the ends. The next morning I texted her asking what can I do because my hair is burnt. She told me to just use a thick conditioner and oil and let it sit for 30 minutes. Didn’t offer to help me fix it. That’s all I got. Well I called my old hair dr

I have the best hairdresser that cares. I love her so much. I had a bad hair day in September of 2022. Waited one year before I tried again. I found her again. I am blessed believe me. I sit in her chair and she does her magic. I have her for life. These ladies do you right. Thank you to the Hair Barn and those ladies that make those scissors do magic.

I have gone to Cuttin' Edge (labeled Hair Barn in Google Maps) for several years now with my hair dresser, Teresa. However, I had my last visit here today. I had to take my one year old with me to my appointment and the last hour I was there, he got a little fussy - not bad but still, fussy. The owner (not Teresa) approached me while I'm getting my hair cut and trying desperately to satisfy my son. She proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't have brought him. I apologized and said I tried to get a babysitter but it didn't work out so I had to bring him. She then told me I should have cancelled because people were trying to relax. Seriously?! I have been a customer at Cutting Edge for the past 5 years and have had nothing but positive experiences with everyone I have encountered personally and as stylists. They are all very friendly and accommodating always. After reading the review of Cherri Simmons I wanted to set the record straight. I was also a customer there today and I can tell you (even as a mother of 3 myself) that baby was not a little fussy for an hour. That baby screamed ear piercing screams constantly for nearly 3 hours while I was there. It was nerve racking to everyone there. The staff and owner were very polite and never rude to Cherri. I can understand the frustration as a parent of a screaming baby but do not place the burden of your frustration on a staff or business that clearly acted professionally.
