I’m writing this review to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. First, I was asked to send a $100 deposit via Zelle, which should have been a red flag. When I arrived for my 10:30 AM appointment, already washed and blow-dried, I waited in the chair for nearly 2–3 hours before being seen. They then re-wet my hair, which extended the delay even further. My service didn’t begin until around 1 PM. The pricing was also extremely concerning. I was initially quoted $600, but once the appointment began, I was repeatedly told I needed add-ons (bleach, toner, more hair), pushing the price up to $1,000. This salon is welcoming and friendly. Sandra cut my hair and it turned out exactly how I wanted. She is a perfectionist and made me feel beautiful! Definitely will make another appointment in the future.

I’ve been a loyal client of this salon for almost 3 years, so it’s disappointing that I have to write this review. I recently made an appointment with Karla because my original stylist was booked while I was in town. When I arrived, she explained that since I had fresh highlights, it might be challenging to work with my hair, but she came up with a plan to give me a look I’d be happy with. The actual service was fine, and I appreciated Karla's effort to work with my existing highlights. However, my issue lies with how things were handled afterward. Once I left the salon, I noticed orange undertones in sections of my hair that were previously blonde. I’ve been getting balayage for 7 years and have never had this issue before. I love this salon so much, everyone is so nice and friendly, they make you feel very welcome. They have the best quality extensions and every single hair dresser is amazing. Alejandra did my hair this time and I am beyond happy with my results. Very affordable as well for the quality and the best looking results.

It's not just the place where they make me look prettier and boost my self-esteem. Hair and Love Salon is, without a doubt, the second home for many. They make you feel like family and believe me, you end up being part of the family in one way or another. All the stylists are very professional under the direction of Sandra Leon, the main flower of the garden. Bertica will brew the best coffee of your life. Highly recommended.
