Mercedes did my hair. I live out of town and was looking for a salon that could do a blow out on natural hair kinky hair. Great personality and excellent service. Prices are great! Also they open up at 9 on Saturdays. There was no wait when I arrived. Be prepared to pay for parking at the meters. Great experience!

Although everyone does a good job, I prefer to go to Mercedes, the owner. She's awesome and genuinely cares for the health of her clients' hair. I wish they took appointments. (The reason for less than 5 stars) It's first come, first served and on holiday weekends or back-to-school times, the wait can be exhausting with my 2 daughters. I guess that's just a sign that they're good at what they do. If you can, go on a weekday morning. That's my preferred time. You'll be in and out in no time!

The level of expertise is surprising for Pennsylvania… I certainly love the way Sol did my hair and Mercedes is just the most delightful professional salon owner but makes you feel as if you are at home with getting your hair done by your sisters… I cannot leave out Marta she’s amazing as well they are a fabulous trio… I’d pay New York dollars for these women to do my hair… Litty

Most places don't know how to do African American hair and they make you feel like you have bad hair just because they don't know how to mange it. This salon isn't one of those! They're very nice and they now how to mange different types of hair no matter what race you are. I've been going there for a few years and never had any complaints. The owner is a godsend!
