I let the Beard go out prior to leaving for a cruise. Figured I’d treat myself to a little bit of pampering before the cruise and got the beard completely shaved. Her studio is very old-school, retro, clean and neatly themed. The shop smell smells like a barbershop. It’s not over bearing. Great natural light. There’s no TVs on with sports playing in the background or rap music blasting. Comfortable chairs to sit while you wait; Dare I use the word cozy? Yes, very cozy. The shave was tremendous. I haven’t had many, But the moment that hot towel hits your face, you will decompress and let out a nice sigh of relaxation. She used some sort of balm on my face and I could swear I smelled banana. I was in town for work and needed a beard trim/shape, so I booked an appointment with Katt — and let me tell you, she did an amazing job. I highly recommend Katt for all your barber needs. I can personally vouch for the full beard service. Whenever I'm back in town, this will definitely be a stop for me.
