First time seeing stylist by the name of NNANDI. Terrible experience. She was extremely dismissive as a stylist, was too rough with my hair, and didn’t listen to any of my suggestions. She even made a comment to her boss about me being the type of customer that knows it all. Very distasteful, and was EXTREMELY pressuring about making monthly appointments with her. Aside from her as a hair dresser, the atmosphere of the shop was entirely too negative. Throughout my session, her and the lady that owns the places argued back and forth about me being a walk in and how my stylist was not supposed to do that. I hadn’t been to any salon in a very long time, thanks to strong 😆 encouragement from my daughter I was reconnected with Naeemah’s “Growth” hair salon. From the salon atmosphere to the shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, haircut and styling the whole experience was worth the time and money spent.

I've been going to this hair salon for a couple of months now. When I receive excellent treatment. My stylist Naeemah does my hair exactly how I want it she is amazing , Everytime I visit. Hands down excellent hair stylist. I've never experienced a shampoo like the one I've had here at this salon. I cannot begin to tell you guys how the shampoo wash felt so good. And that is an understatement. Tina the shampoo lady makes you forget everything on your To do list when you go. 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ shampoo treatment. Then I get the steam/ red light treatment every time I go. It leaves my hair absolutely soft and manageable. I have a great time every time I go.

Growth Hair Salon by Naeemah has been my best kept secret nestled deep within south Jersey for over a decade. It is truly second to none in terms of the expertise and professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the salon and exceeding expectations every time. Whether getting a routine relaxer, custom color, cut or style it is worth every dollar spent. When my health faltered and my hair started to fall out, we chopped my locks for a custom cut and amped up my deep conditioning treatments. When gray hair started to pop up, we experimented with bold colors. When I changed careers, I experimented with a lobb. Whatever the occasion, the Growth Salon team was there to ensure I looked flawless every time.

My teenage daughter gets braids done by Naeemah V. The braids are done beautifully! Naeemah also gives great advice on hair care maintenance for all types of hair. I decided to do the big chop and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. I love my short natural curly hair cut. Naeemah showed me how to work with my curls. I left with natural products for my hair upkeep, this is best short cut I have ever had. Naeemah is knowledgeable about all hair types, she is friendly and her shop is very clean.
