Great Nails and Spa by Sophea

For the past several years I’ve been a customer of Great Nails by Sophea. I’ve had manicures and pedicures; always leaving happy after these services. It was a recent visit that left me very upset with the manicure. I didn’t complain then because the salon had many customers, and the nail tech was new, and we all have bad days. Instead, I took photos and returned two days later. I showed Sira my nails and photos that were taken. She apologized and did not just fix the issues but gave me a full manicure. Sira always does a marvelous job and is the go to nail technician for nail art/designs. Sira is professional and we always have pleasant conversations about our families, school, etc. I left the salon with Great looking nails and happy that Sira understood why I was upset and didn’t

BURNT MY SKIN WITH CALLUS GEL. I walked in to get the cracked skin on my heel scrubbed off. I did not want paint on my nails. The technician slopped the callus gel on my feet, without paying attention, and the gel got into the top of my foot and the sides. After a few minutes, my skin started to burn. This gel is dangerous if it is exposed to healthy, non callused skin. Any nail technician should be aware of that. I wiped the gel off as it was burning and told her what was happening. She did not acknowledge the burn until she started to try to massage my feet and I told her to stop because it was burnt. Not only was that experience negative, but then I was told my manicure was $45.00 if I wanted to use a credit card, but the technician told me the pedicure was only $40.00. I refused to pa

I had a pedicure done at Great Nails back in September. I loved it and had a great experience. Last week (9days ago) I had a gel manicure done. Four days later one of the gel manicure pieces came off. I returned and they were kind enough to redo it. Yesterday, *TWO* nails broke and or lost the gel polish. Today, another one broke. I was told that gel manicure last up to 2-3wks. This gel manicure lasted less than a week, I'm quite disappointed. *Yes, the photo I've included has a crooked nail. The photo was taken the night I got them done. The manicurist said, "It was my nail", however my nail isn't normally crooked.

You have to go... This is one of the BEST PLACES to get your nails done..I had a gel manicure done plus Sira dipped my hands in warm wax... My hands are so so soft and they feel brand new.... Love the atmosphere.. LOVE love it there!!!... Plus very clean, a perfectionist doing your nails... And the price is very reasonable.. You have to try it!!!😁

I went in for a walk-in gel manicure and was taken right away. I left feeling very satisfied! This is the first place in the area where they don't use a dremel to remove your previous color. Instead, they take their time to soak and remove the color properly, which saves your nails from damage. I was also pleased with their prices!
