Great Clips

I know that kids can be difficult to give hair cuts too but my daughters hair came out completely crooked... I just wanted to cry! Thankfully I reconsidered my first decision to have 7 inches cut off and only let her cut 4 inches. this is the first haircut my daughter has had since her hair grew back from chemotherapy treatments. I know it's just hair but :(

Even though there were no customers waiting, the "stylist" ran through my cut in about 5 minutes. Hair all over my face. She said that hair just falls straight down. Made no effort at any time to get the hair off my face not even when she was done! And not a good job either! She left my hair a mess at the end--made no attempt to brush it nicely. She stood there while I tried to straighten it with my fingers! I asked her if she had an urgent appointment to get too. She asked why I asked that. I told her shebwent so fast. She told me she's just naturally quick! I've gone to other locations and I know they don't treat their customers this way.

If I could give no stars I would. Worst experience ever with a Great Clips. My son just turned 3 and I have always had to have him sit in my lap to cut his hair. Never been an issue at any Great Clips. Not only did they refuse to cut his hair, one of the hairdressers was extremely rude and snappy. Ma’am, if you have never cut a kids hair on someone’s lap, maybe you should learn or find another profession. So needless to say, if you have a kid that needs extra attention for a hair cut, don’t go there. I ended up going to the other Great Clips in Williamsburg and they did amazing with my son! And yes, they allow kids to sit on parents laps if needed….

I was the only customer in the salon. 2 stylists sitting in chairs, children heard playing in back room. I asked for quick shampoo, cut and dry. Was told blow dry was not available. After my 30-second cut across back of head only, I asked about reason for no blow dry. Stylist said it was because they couldn’t add on services because they would get behind. As I looked at the empty salon, stylist said they were busier during the week and had to have same rules on the weekend. Seriously? I paid $30 for a shampoo and 3 snips of a scissors, and walked out with dripping hair. Will not be back.

The whole cut was very rushed and rough. My barber cut my hair way shorter than I wanted it and barely blended it. My head hair and facial hair are not even at all to the point I’m currently wondering if I should try to salvage it or just shave it all off. I was charged $33 for the worst hair cut of my life.
